THE PREMIER'S RETURN TO WANGANUI.

[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganci, Thursday. A well-attended and enthusiastic meeting of citizens was held this evening, when the following resolutions were passed :— (1) "That on the occasion of the Premier's first visit to Wanganui since his appointment to that high and honourable position, the inhabitants, through a deputation, meet him on arrival at the railway station, and present him with an address of congratulation." (2) "That a complimentary banquet be tendered to the Hon. the Premier by the inhabitants of Wanganui." A committee was also appointed to give effect to the foregoing resolutions.
