Walker, who claimed to have purchased the interests of certain native owners of the Pukekura and Puahoe blocks, in Waikato district. Mr. R. Hesketh appeared for the applicant, and the natives did not appear or object. The evidence in support of the claims was taken on Monday, when the Court reserved judgment, in order to have time to consider the documentary and other i.-yid(Micc on which the applications for certificates ofjtitlo were based. His Honor now «M.id they had considered the evidence, and concluded that the applicant was entitled to ■ : rtilicatcs of title under the 27th .section of the Act, in regard to the interests purchased from Aratnute Te Waharoa, HJuvto Tamilian;',, ami Til itereniai Maraeariki, in tlio I'liiihoe anil Pukekura block's. It would b>.: .'•; well to have a certificate prepared, in order that it might be signed without delay. Mi. lii-ii;eth said they had prepared a draft certificate to be submitted to the Court. There w;is no form of certificate in the Act, and they wished tile opinion of the Court as to what should be included in it. His Honor .said the form of certificate could be settled in Chambers, alter the rising of the Court. The Court then rose, and Jlis Honor sat in Chambers and considered the.draft certificate prepared by Mr. Hesketh, which was approved and signed.
