ILLNESS OF BISHOP SUTER.
[by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, Wednesday. The Bishop of Nelson is seriously ill. On Saturday evening, when reading the prayers in Bishop Dale Chapel, lie suddenly stopped, having lost his sight. He is now suffering from congestion of the brain, and the doctors say that under the most favourable circumstances he must have complete rest for three months. No man in Nelson is more popular than the Bishop, whose sudden illness has given quite a shock to the community. Later. The serious illness of the Bishop of Nelson is causing some anxiety. The latest report is that though he is no worse, he is not improving.
