MEETING OF CREDITORS.

A meeting of creditors in the estate of ft. (J. 11. Gore wan held at the office of the Official Assignee yesterday. Present : Messrs. Hudson (chairman), Rae, Patterson, Beale (Hubble, • Shuttleworth, and Abbott), and Goldwater. At the request of Mr.. Rae, the statement of the debtor's assets and liabilities was read over, after which Mr. Beale explained that the meeting was called to confirm the resolutions of the previous meeting, and added thab he had not yet obtained the assent of all the creditors to thern. He therefore proposed that the meeting be adjourned until the 3rd Uucembor. This was carried. Mr. Rae stated that he had no intention of accepting anything less than 203 in the £, and that he would nob agree to the composition. He thought) that tho Government would reinstate the bankrupt in his former position on the recommendation of tho creditors, and then there was nothing to prevent him from paying the creditors in full.
