To the Editor of the Herald. July IS, 1890. Sir, —Will you allow mo through your valuable column to make a statement that I trust may bo of benefit to suffering humanity. Threo months a#o, acting on the advice of my sister, I came from Hokianga to Auckland for the purpose of trying Mr. WarmoU's Hydropathic treat Blent and Edunic diet. 1 entered this establishment on the 17th of June. I was suffering from cancer in the leg of eleven years' growth. All my friends know it was a terrible case, my sufferings having been great and constant. I have tried many medical men, and attended the Hospital in Dr. Philson's time, but could get no relief or hope of cure. For the last seven years it lias been getting worse, and I have been constantly racked with pain, not being able to get more than half-an hour's sleep at a time. I could not put try foot to the ground during all that time, the sinews of :ny lex being contracted. My bowels were quito torpid, no action without artificial aid; in fact, I had no hope of relief nor any prospect of being cured. All was dark, but now, thank God, all this is changed, ami I feel it my duty to others who are suffering to make publicly known the facts of my case. After being three days under treatment on the Edenic Diet all pain was removed, my sleep was fully restored. No sleepless nights trouble me now I rise feeling refreshed and well. Perfectly natural action of the bowels was established ; and, wonderful to say, on the fourth day the muscles of my leg relaxed, and my foot came to the ground without any pain. In fact the cure has been going on by a painless process ever since. 1 have found no inconvenience whatever from the change of diot, On the contrary, I llnd it pleasant and feel no desire for the cooked food. I never sulfur now from constipation, my leg has a healthy appearance, mid is getting well fast. 1 cannot speak too highly of the kind and skilful nursing I have received from Mrs. Warmoll and her assistants. With thanks, _ I remain, Yours faithfully, ANNIK RUSSELL. Sunny Brae, Lake Takapuna.
