"V'EW ZEALAND HYDROPATHIC AND FRUIT HOSPITAL. July IS, ism. To the Editor of the Herald. Sir,— you allow me through your valuable columns to make a statement that I trust may be ol benefit to suffering humanity. Three months ago, acting on the advice of ir.j sister, I came from Hokianga to Auckland for the purpose of trying Mr. Warmoll's Hydropathic treat nient and Edenic diet. I entered this establishment on the 17th of .Tune, I was suffering from cancer in the leg of eleven years' growth. All my friends know it was a terrible case, my sufferings having been great and constant. I hare tried many medical men, and attende.l the Hospital in Dr. Philson's time, but could get nu relief or hope of cure. For the last seven years it has been getting worse, and I hare been constantly racked with pain, not being able to get more than half -an hour's sleep at a time. I could not put n j foot to the ground during all that time, the sinews of my leg being contracted. My bowels were quite torpid.no action without artificial aid; in fact, I had no hope of relief nor any prospect of being cured. All was dark, but now, thank God, all tliii is changed, and I feel it my duty to others who are suffering to make publicly known the facts of ii:j case. i i*fter being three days under treatment on the Edenic Diet all pain was removed, my sleep was fully restored. No sleepless nights trouble me now. I rise feeling refreshed and well. Perfectly natural action of the bowels was established ; and, wonder. ful to say, on the fourth day the muscles of my leg relaxed, and my foot came to the ground without any pain. In fact the cure lias been going on by a painless process ever since. I hare found no inconvenience whatever from the change of diet. On the contrary, I find it pleasant and feel no desire for the cooked food. I never suffer now from constipation, my leg has a healthy appearance, and is getting well fast. I cannot speak too highly of th* kind and skilful nursing I have received from Mrs. Wannoll and tiei assistants. With thanks, 1 I remain, Yours faithfully, 1 ANNIE RUSSELL. i Sunny Bra«, Tnke Takapuna. Tiroes of Attendance at Cor suiting Room : Tuesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Business Cards.
