TO THE EDITOH. Sir,—As I presume that the members of the Seamen's Union do not intend to be quite so inconsistent as to purchase for themselves and their families food which has been conveyed from the South and elsewhere by the Union S.S. Co.'s vessels manned by frea labour, they will doubtless be much obliged to me for the information that there are in this province, and available for immediate settlement, thousands of acres of land flowing with milk and honey, upon which they can grow their own corn, be their own " miliars" (masters), and mind their own individual business.—l am, etc., "Joseph." P.S.No brickmaking.
