CHARGE OF FORGERY.
[by telegraph. — ri-.Kss association.] Ciiristciu'RCH, Monday. Frederick Mainland Haim'ield, formerly of the City Hotel, was committed for trial to-day, 011 three charges of forging the name William Goodwin to cheques on the Bank of New South Wales, aggregating £1I>"J. Joseph Harrop was charged with him, but wad dismissed. All the cheques were cashed at the bank. There are seven more charges against Hadfie'.d.
