At St. Paul's to-morrow the incumbent will preach on the following subject:?, viz., " Ashamed " and "David's Penitence: An Old Lesson for Modern Times." Holy Communion will be administered at 8 a.m. The anthem at evensong is Barnby's " Thy Moray, (.) Lad." Mr. J. T. Arumlel will deliver an address to children at the service (at 3 p.m.) to-morrow at St. Matthew'*. Iα the evening the Rev. W. Teblis will continue his address on "The Workmen of the Bible," taking "The Builder" as his theme. The other services are a celebration of Holy Communion at 10 .i.iii. and Morning Prayer at 11 with sermon by tho incumbent on " True Baptism." Ihe usual services will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral, Painell, and All Saints'. Bishop Cowie has postponed his visit to All Saints' Sunday-school till Sunday, the 20th inst. At Epiphany Church the incumbent will preach in the morning on "The Progressive Christian Life," and in the evening on "A Mother's Influence." The Presbyterian services are St. Andrew's, Rev. A. Cairfck ; St. •lames'. Rev. It. F. Macnicol; St. Stephen'.'!, Rev. T. F. Robertson; St. David's, Rev. Scott West. The arrangements for the city Wesleyan churches ar ,, :—Pitt-street : Morning, Mr. J. Dukes will preach : Morning, " The object of the Christian Ministry;" evening, "Ought the State to Teach Christian Morals in the Day Schools." The arrangements for Primitive Methodist churches are :—Alexandra-street, Rev. A..). Smith, subject, evening, "The Lost Christ." Pitt and Edwin streets, Rev. \V. C. Woodward: Morning, "Not Forsaken;" evening, "Quench not the Spirit." The anniversary services of the Pevonport Congregational Sunday-school will be held to-morrow. Morning, Rev. H. .f. Miller; afternoon at 3, Rev. R. l.aishley; evening, Rev. B. L. Thomas. Collection in aid of the school fund. Anniversary tea on Thursday. At lieresfoul-street Congregational Church, Rev. .T. Chew; and at Mount Eden Church, Rev. B L. Thomas in the morning. The Rev. 11. .1. Lewis will preach at Newton Congregational Church, morning, " Perfect I'eaco ;" evening, lectures on religion. 1., " What is Religion ?" Usual services at Tabernacle. Ac Ponsonby Baptist Church, by Rev. .T. D. Oilmore, morning, "The Christian Sabbath ;" evening, " Sown Among Thorns." "The Moabite Stone," will be the subject of Mr. C. K, Button's address to men, in the' V.M.C.A. Rooms, to-morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. George Aldridge will give his usual Sunday afternoon address in tin- Opera House at 3. Subject, "The Deluge ; Was it Partial or Universal?" In the evening at the same place subject, " Atonement," Christadelphians meet in the Masonic Hall, Newton, to-morrow forenoon at 11. At St. George's Hall, Great North Road, Newton. Gospel addresses at 7 p.m., subject to-morrow, " Man's Complete Ruin and God's Perfect Remedy" (second add ress.) The usual religious services in connection with the Orange celebration of the 12th of July, will be held to-morrow afternoon at the Choral Hall, when the Rev. .1. H. Siinmonds will preach a sermon to the brethren of the Order.
