The latest Government statistics as to foot-and-mouth disease in Germany, published on April 13th, show that on April Ist the pest prevailed in 120 districts (or in 297 boroughs), against ninety-eight districts (or 215 boroughs) at the beginning of March, i.e., an increase of eighty-two.
