GAZETTE NOTICES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— press association.] Wellington, Thursday. The Gazette notifies that from the 17th a duty of 2s per cwt shall bo levied upon paint ground in turpentine, which is apparently substituted for the dutiable article, size paint ground in oil. A despatch from the Secretary of State, containing correspondence respecting the new commercial convention with Egypt, is gazetted.
