ECCLESIASTICAL.

At St. Paul's, to-morrow, there will be services'at 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 6.30 p.m., with Holy Communion at the first two. The incumbent will be the preacher, the evening subject being announced as " God's Goodness an Incentive to Man." Clarke Whitfield's well-known anthem, "In Jewry," is noted for the evening. At St. Matthew's, to-morrow, the services will be at the usual hours of 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., with a celebration of Holy Communion at the former service, when the incumbent hopes to resume his place in the pulpit, preaching in the evening on the subject, Heart or Intellect?"

At St. Mary's Cathedral Church, Parnell, and All Saints', Ponsonby, the ordinary services.

The Rev. R. Scott West at St. David's Presbyterian Church, morning and evening. At St. Stephen's, Ponsonby, the Rev. T. P. Robertson, morning and evening. The following are the services at the Primitive Methodist churches : — Alexandrastreet : Rev. A. J. Smith, moraine:, " Go and Tell Jesus," evening, "A Good Wife with a Bad Husbandl'itt and Edwin-streets : Evening, Rev. W. C. Woodward, " The Magnetism of the Cross Franklin Road: Morning, Rev. W. C. Woodward; evening, Rev. W. Worker. As three of the members of the Ministers' Association are indisposed, there has been difficulty in providing supplies for the Rev. W. Birch, but it is now arranged that the secretary of the Association, the Rev. W. L. Salter will preach at the Tabernacle tomorrow, the morning's subject being, " The Christian's Chief Joy—His Name Written in Heaven;" and in the evening, " The Blood of Sprinkling." The Rev. A. Reid, of Wesley College, hits kindly undertaken the responsibility of sending a student to supply for the Rev. Mr. Salter. Mr. Robert Fry will preach at the Onenunga Public Hall to-mor-row afternoon. At the Ponsonby Baptist Church, Pastor J. 1). Gilmore will preach morning and evening. The Rev. B. L. Thomas will preach morning and evening at Mount Eaen Congregational Church. At Newton Congregational Church : Morn-, ing, Rev. H. J. Lewis, "The Unsearchable Riches of Christ;" evening, " A Rebuke from the Dumb Race."

The Rev. J. Chew, of the Beresford-street Congregational Church, will to-morrow evening improve the death of the late Mrs. Matthews.

To-morrow afternoon Mr. Geo. Aldridge will continue his Sunday afternoon services for the people, at the Opera House, at three o'clock, his subject being " Looking Backward." In the evening he will lecture at the Foresters' Hall, on " A Seer's View of the Letter Days." On account of Mr. C. E. Button's indisposition Mr. YV. R. Vines has kindly consented to give the address at the Sunday afternoon meeting in the Young Men's Christian Association, at 3 o'clock. The subject will be, " Time, its End, its Object." The Evangelistic service in the City Hall to-morrow evening, commences at 8 o clock. Mr. J. T. Arundel w'n deliver an address which will probably be his last for some time, as he expects to leave by the incoming mail steamer.
