Notice is hereby given, thai it is the intention of . the Borough Council of Devonport to cause to he . introduced, at the ensuing session of the General Assembly of New Zealand, to be held in Wellington in June, 1890, a Bill to be willed. " The Iforough of Devonport (empowering and Endowment Act, 1890." The objects intended to be effected by the Hill are : —1. To vest in the Borough Council of Devonport as an endowment for the benefit of the said Borough, All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, New Zealand, being lot 1, section 1, Parish of Takapuna, containing -21 acres, 2 roods, and 12 perches, situate outside the limits of the said Borough, and acquired for the purposes of a cemetery. To vest in the said Council, mid to be dedicated as a public road, All that parcel of land containing :l roods and 22 perches, being southern portion of the .Mount Victoria Recreation Reserve. 3. To vest in the said Council as an endowment for the use of the public. Ail that parcel of land containing 02 acres, I rood, anil 8 perches known as Cheltenham Beach. Rangiloto Channel. 4. Power to the said Council to deal with the lands beforementioned in the manner provided by the -Municipal Corporations Act, ISSO, and Amendments. 6. To empower the Governor to vest in the Board of Education, Auckland District, one acre of Mount Victoria Recreation Reserve as compensation tor the land taken to be dedicated as a public road hereinbefore secondly mentioned. And to empower the Auckland Harbour Board to convey to the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, ami Burgesses of the Borough of Devouport, certain portions of Shoal Bay, Harbour of Auckland, containing 22 acres, 2 roods, and 28 S-lOt-h perches, and - acres, 1 rood, and IS perches, respectively, in consideration of the said Corporation permitting the Auckland Harbour Board to lay out certain roads in shoal Bay aforesaid, without forming the -aid roads or contributing to the cost of their formation.
