A BOON AND A BLESSING. Mr. Alfred Hay, of Boomanoomana, a highly accomplished gentleman, and one of the most successful breeders of sheep in the Murray district of New South Wales, is enthusiastic in his encomium of St. Jacobs oil. He always keeps a supply of it on his station ; and the success which it enjoys in America, where he has seen it in general use, very properly convinces him that in v"ill be quite a boon and a blessing in the Australian bush. Other graziers and agriculturalists heartily end rse Mr. Hay's statement, and are unanimous iu declaring that St. Jacobs oil is the favourite and sovereign remedy in the rural districts of this young bub rising continent. REGULATING A TIMEBALL. Mr. A. J. Potter, one of the leading busi ness men in Newcastle, N.S. writes to the Sydney agents of the Waterbtiry Watch Co., under date December 30th, 1889:—"I have been selling your watches for the pass two years, and they have given every satisfaction. I repaired one for Capb, Bewick, of Wickham, which he informed me had gone for four years, keeping time to half a minute a week. Another well-known resident, Mr. Zingel, has one, with which ho regulates the Newcastle timeball. The genuine Waterbury may be obtained from any respectable dealer.
