John Owen- Loud is appointed Registrar of Marriages, Birth, and Deaths for the Auckland district; John Mellsop, for Awitu ; Samuel Walker, for Drury. Constable Matthew O'Brien is appointed Clerk of the R.M. Court at Helensville ; Robert Adams is appointed a member of the licensing committee for the special districts of East and West Taupo. COMMISSION cancelled. The commission of Sub-Lieutenant Duder, of the Ponsonby Naval Artillery volunteers, is cancelled, for being absent from the colony without leave. THE QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY. Monday, the 26th instant, is gazetted a goneral holiday in honour of Her Majesty's Birthday. QUARANTINE. The island of Motuihi is gazetted a quarantine station for imported stock.
