FATAL SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

[l!V TELEGRAPH. —press ASSOCIATION".] Wellington* , Sunday. A half C\mti: Maori named James Donaldson, residing near Otepopo, shot himself on Saturday. He had told his family he was going out rabbit-shooting, and one of his sons accompanied him part of the way. When deceased had walked about 200 yards away the son heard a report, and afterwards heard his father screaming. Both barrels of the gun had gone off, the contents entering the body on the left side. Deceased did not live long after the gun went I off. An inquest will be held.
