JEWS IN FRANCE.
Cool observers in France are now declaring the Judenhetzo serious. M. Kenan, says the Daily News Paris correspondent, looks grave whenever this outburst of fanaticism is spoken of in his presence, and M. Kane asks those who wish to follow M. Drumont's advice to let the Jews alone, as they are beginning to be absorbed in 'the nations among which they live. He says there are many signs of the submersion of Israel among the advanced nationalities of the world, and of the decline of the instinct for finance. They are beginning to take to painting, literature, and even to the military career, and a taste for country life has been shown by many Jews and Jewesses. The Conservatives began this movement at the last elections, when for the first time were seen in posters signed by candidates denunciations worthy of M. Drumont, and pledges to put an end to the plutocratic feudalism of the Jewish Barons. The Debate advises the haters of the Jews to copy their methods of business and their fraternal kindness to each other. If they did, they would not be moved to revile the Rothschilds and get up a crusade against them,
