Major Wissman is parleying for the services of Tippo Tib, and is endeavouring to close all trade routes against the British East African Company through M assail. The Sultan of Zanzibar has made peace between the Germans and Dwahanere, the Arab leader. Emin Bey's caravan for Lake Victoria Nyanza leaves Zanzibar on 20th inst. Zanzibar, April 3. Emin Boy vehemently denies that he was concerned in the action brought by Stanley against Tippo Tib, claiming damages for breach of contract. Emin's conduct in connection with the new expedition is regarded as treacherous.
