SELECTION OF RURAL LANDS.
A quantity of rural lands having been declared open for sale or selection in terms of section 3 to 11 of the Land Act Amendment Act, ISB7, either for cash, on deferred payment, or perpetual lease, at the option of the selectors, at the Crown Lands Oliice, Auckland, on and after Wednesday, the 22nd instant, applications were received on Wednesday and yesterday morning. In a few cases there were several applications for the same section, and priority of choice was decided by lot drawn in the presence of the Chief Commissioner yesterday.
