. 4. ■ A cable message from Melbourne, received by a gentlemen in Auckland on Wednesday last, states that a meeting of the shareholders in the above company had been held that day in Melbourne to confirm a resolution passed at a previous meeting with respect to increasing the number of shares in the company. The resolutioD to increase the number of shares was earned unanimously. The shareholders also agreed to the establishment of an English register. The number of shares in the company was originally 16,000, which were afterwards increased tenfold, to 1(50,000. The stock has now been again increased sixfold, making 960,000 shares in the company, IC/.000 of° which will be placed on the English
