TWO BROTHERS DROWNED.

Melbourne, .January 9. About midday yostorday Arthur Edward Poole, aged twelve, and his brother Frank, aged ten, were drowned in an artificial lake at Preston while bathing. Thoy asked permission to bathe of a man working there, but were told that bathing was not allowed. During the absence of the workmen at dinner they went in. Their clothes were found on the bank, and this led to the discovery of the accident.
