LARGE LAND SALES.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Patea, Friday. Sixteen thousand three hundred acres of the Pokopura block and 13,000 acres of the Huiakama, block, inland of Stratford, hive been sold privately to twelve buyers for bona, fide, settlement. Mr. Coworn reports that this makes 40,000 acres sold within the pa£b six months on the lino that was proposed for the Stratford-Auckland railway route.
