' I NOTICE i 3 hereby giren that an EXTBAOBDINARY GENERAL MEETING of .the Shareholders of the Northern Steamship Company (Limited) will bo held at the Offices of the Company, Palmerston Buildings, No. 45, Queen-street, AucJrland, on FKI DAY, the 20th day of December, 1888, at two o'clock ia the afternoon, at which the following resolutions will be proposed :— 1. That the following resolution, passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company .duly convened and held on the 3rd - day of December, 18S9, viz.:—" That the Capital of the Company be reduced from £150,000,' divided into 150,000 shares of £1 each, to £108,750, divided into 150,000 shares of 14s 6d each, and that such reduction be effected by cancelling capital which has been lost, or i 3 unrepresented by available assets, to the extent of 5s 6d per share, as follows:—<o) The 12,495 fully paid up shares of £1 each now existing, shall be reduced from £1 to 14s 6d per share, by the cancellation of Es 0d per share, and shall be deemed fully paid up to 14s Cd per share, and shall be called ' "A" Shares. (6) The 104,289 shares of £1 each, issued and paid up to 12s 6d per share, shall be reduced from £1 per share (12s 6d paid up) to Ms 6<l per share (7a paid up), by the cancellation of 5s Cd per share, and shall be deemed paid up to 7s per share, and shall be called "B " Shares, (c) The 33,216 shares never issued by the Company, shall be reduced frorn.the nominal value of £1 per share to the nominal value of 14s Cd per share and upon which no sum per share has been or is to beldeemed paid up, and shall be called "C " Shares," be confirmed. 2. That the following resolution, passed at the above meeting held on the 3rd day of December, ISS9, viz.:—" That the existing Certificates of the 12,495 and 104,239 .-hares already issued be called in by the Directors and cancelled, and that New Certificates be issued," Ltj confirmed.
