London, November 22. The weekly returns of the Bank of England published to-day, show the total reserve in notes and bullion to be r £12,034,000, being an increase of £64,000 as compared with the previous week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 41 per cent. Consols are 97. • New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock is weaker at 106. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, is 39s 6d, with the market depressed; New Zealand long-berried ditto, ex store, 37s 6d Sugar : German beet, 11s 6d; Java : ditto, 14s 3d. ' The iron market is firm at 63s 6d. ; London, November 23. At the auction to-day 1100 bales of rabbit skins were sold. New Zealand consignments show an advance of Id . per lb, while Australian have barely supported last rates. ■ Per New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Apency Co. Loudox, November 32. Tallow.—There is a fair demand. The market has advanced 3d per cwfc since last report. ■ . . New; Zealand Hemp.—Market firm, bub quotations are unchanged. • ; Frozen Meat,—Mutton market is quiet. Canterbury is worth 4£d, and Wellington ; 4fd per lb. Beef market inactive. New Zealand hindquarters are worth 3§d per lb. Rabbit Skins. — The demand active. Best description have advanced Id, and ' medium descriptions 2d per ib since lasJ rftnorfc. ' '
