STANLEY'S PROGRESS.
SEVERE FIGHTING WITH NATIVES. TAKEN FOR CANNIBALS. London, November 22. Stanley writes that he had four days' fighting on the shores of Lake VictoriaNyanza, owing to the natives believing that the followers of Emin Bey were cannibals. He states that his men were obliged to carry a number of invalids of his party a thousand miles in hammocks. ,
