MASONIC CONVENTION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] - Wellington, Thursday. The whole of the afternoon's sitting of the Masonic devoted to committee work in discussing the articles of tho union, satisfactory progress being made. A basis of union was agreed to, submission to Grand Lodge in its main features. Practically every resolution arrived at was unanimously agreed to from the beginning to tho end of the convention. Brother Hamerton was elected acting _ treasurer. Existing Masonic Union committees were asked to continue to promote the object.
