TCitfc, P.M. 1530 E.C., and published in the 34ew Zealand Journal in reference to Masonry in Auckland, in which, amongst other things, it was stated in referring to the United Grand Lodge question : " Notwithstanding the opposition in certain quarters, the general feeling in favour of a United Grand Lodge is decidedly on the increase. Fifteen lodges in the dio •trie* have already paseed an affirmative vote, and although the District Grand Secretaryship ha« been offered to several brethron, with the object of detaching their allepanco from the Masonic Union, the Aacklund Execntive continues to work steadily, zealously, and harmoniously for the furtherance of the cmieo." He asked the D.G.M. to stato whether ib was a fact. that the office of the D.G. Secretary was feeing offered in thia way. Brother Graham said the statement was untrue und unwarrantable.
