DUNRDIN OATS. DO'KDl.v, August 21.—The market this week shows some signs of improvement. A reaction is ju>t beginning to sot in, and 110 doubt this will become more pronounced as stocks in the Australian markets are somewhat further reduced. Sales have been effected during the week at Id to ljd higher than could have been obtained last week. Some holders, however, being under the impression that the limited quantity still in store will not be sufficient for requirements, are not forcing sales, which if at all would certainly influence prices in favour of speculators and go against the grower. Isest bright milling, 2s 3d to is Od ; best short bright feed, 2s 7d to 2s Sd ; medium, 2s 6d to 2s Td (ex stor«, sacks extra).
