[BY;.TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENTS.] Thames, Thursday. Trenton.—The water was baled out of the shaft last night, and operations were resumed in the face of the crosscut at the bottom this morning. The tank now used for baling is fulfilling its purpose ad mil*ably. Saxon.—The flow of water coming from the stopes above No. 2 level has partially abated, but there is still sufficient to cause considerable inconvenience. At No. 5 level to-day there were signs of the hangingwall portion of the reef in the drive inside of the No, 2 break increasing in size, and colours of gold were seen in the quartz broken out. Warden's Court.—A short sitting was held this morning, when the following applications were dealt with : —Pluvnmer Brother?, Singapore Licensed Holding, Upper Tararu, adjourned to 12th September; Thomas Melville, water-race, Waihi; adjourned to stli September. Residence sites were granted at Knrangahake to A. Pol ton and Joseph Woods, and the application of O. Kates for an occupation license at Tararu was adjourned to the 12th September. Reuben Parr. —We understand that overtures have been made by the directors of this company to the New Moanataiari Company to sell their mine, and that a meeting of the Reuben Parr shareholders is to be called to consider the proposition.
