August 15.—Sailed: The schooner Welcome, for Adelaide, with 99,000 feet timber ; the schooner Duaedin, for Napier ; and the cutter Eleanor, for Taurauga, timber laden. HOKIANGA. v August 15.—The schooner Waireka, which v.-ent, sshore in the river yesterday, tloated off all right at high water. She is lying in the stream, waiting a favourable wind for Wellington. The s.s. Glenelg sailed for Onehunga with passengers. RUSSELL. August 15.—Arrived : The cutter Czar and s.s. Clansman. Saiied : S.s. Clansman, for Auckland. Passengers: Miss Watkin, Mrs. Muddlebrook, Messrs. Bell, Lough, and others. WELLINGTON. August 15.—Sailed : S.s. Takanuna, for the JSTorth. Passengers :—Miss Eddy, Mrs. Jackson, Messrs. Wilson and Burridge. LYTTELTON. August 15.—Sailed : S.s. Manapouri, for Wellington. Passengers : —Misses Allen and Buchanan, Mesrlame3 Rutherford, Holt, Shaw and children. Judge Ward, Messrs. Webster, Tripp, Robsou, Jollv, Shaw, Harris, Atkinson, O'Malley, Blackmore, Rhodes, Wallnutt, Hoban, Sidev, Ross, Jackson, MacLachlan, Coull, Peache, Masters Peache and Ward, Hawke's Bay Football Team. S.s. Penguin, for Akaroa and Dunedin ; Janot Nicoll, for Timaru. PORT CHALMERS. August 15. —Arrived : S.s. Tekapo, from theivorth; brigantine Jasper Rogers, from the Mauritius, M'ith 309 tons of sugar. Sailed: S.s. Wairanipa, for Melbourne ; brigantine Enterprise, for rJapicr.
