We have received several copies of the " Reports of the relation of Dairy Produce of New Zealand to the English Market" by Professor Long, for free distribution. The reports have been noticed in our columns sometime ago at considerable length. Sinco arrival in the colony the Government have reprinted the reports in a pamphlet, which is for free distribution. Those desiring a copy should apply to our publishing' office, Queen-street, where copies will be given so long as they last. The Watson gold medal for the most important discoveries in astronomy was given to Dr. Schonfeld, of Bonn, for his researches concerning variable stars andfor cataloguing stars brighter than the tenth magnitude.
