THE MAORI FOOTBALLERS. Melbourne, May 31. In the match against South Mel< bourne, the Maori football team won by 6 goals and 6 behinds to 4 goals and 13 behinds. THE SYDNEY WHEAT MARKET. Sydney, May 31. The deliveries for the week include 696 tons of wheat from New Zealand, 228 tons of flour from Victoria and South Australia. THE VICTORIAN MINISTRY. Melbourne, May 31. Mr. J. Nimmo, Commissioner of Public Works, has resigned his seat in the Cabinet. He will be succeeded by Mr, D. M. Davis, who now holds a portfolio without office.
