THE PREMIER AND THE GOVERNOR'S LEVEE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Tuesday. It was reported yesterday that the arrangements for the levee, which gave such dissatisfaction, were suggested by the Premier. I have authority for saying that the Premier had nothing to do with the arrangements, neither did he give any advice concerning them. There is quite a orop of complaints in the newspapers to-day on the subject of the defective arrangements.
