THE GISBORNE SUPREME COURT.

[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisborne, Monday. The Supreme Court sessions were opened this morning before Mr. Justice Richmond, who remarked in his address to the grand jury that of the six cases all bub one concerned Maori prisoners, and the Maoris in five were instrumental in bringing the prisoners to justice. A true bill was found against Henry Te Peikeia for horse-stealing, and he was found guilty and sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment. True bills were found against Kohure for sodomy, Tamo Taraha for borse-stealing and forgery, and N. J. Mossman for sheepstealing. Haera Te Pere will be brought up to-morrow and charged with the murder of the Pol ~i family at Waipiro. There are 84 witnessed for the prosecution.
