No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.o.b. in the Clyde, is 44s 3d, steady. March 23. Leather : Best sides |d lower ant basils Jd lower than previous quota tions. Demand is poor. Per New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co London, March 22. Tallow.—Market better. The demaot is partly speculative and partly consump tive. We think present quotations ar likely to rule for some time.
