T ) THF. EDITOR. Sir,—ln yesterday's issue of your paper appears a paragraph in reference to Herr Schmitt, in which he is spoken of as "Sir Carl Schmitt." Now, sir, I wish to point out that this is a purely British title, and therefore one which no foreign order justifies the use of.
