PRINCE RUDOLPH'S DEATH.
ANOTHER VERSION. Rome, February 8. The Emperor of Austria has written a letter to the Pope stating that Prince Rudolph's death was the result of a duel. London, February 8. The Vienna correspondent of the Daily News states that the Emperor Francis telegraphed to the Pope that the cause of Prince Rudolph's death was both suicide and a duel. A conclave of Cardinals met, and it was decided to permit the burial to be accompanied with the rites of the Catholic Church. Vienna, February 8. It is reported that the lady found shot at Meyerling Castle was the Baroness Vethera. The exact facts are still a mystery. At Laybach, in the Tyrol, Father Miiran refused to offer a requiem on behalf of Prince Rudolph. Nevertheless the congregation sang the requiem without the aid of the choir, and forced the sexton to toll the bell. Vienna, February 9. The Official Agency denies the statements of the Fgaro, and publishes letters left by Prince Rudolph and the Lady to the Duke of Braganza and the Baroness Kessara, the girl's mother 1 . Rhudolph's waiters say that death was inevitable. The Baroness Kessera, in a letter to her mother, states that her love for the Prince was so great that she resolvod to die with him.
Vienna, February 10. The suicide of Prince Rudolph with Baroness Keisera is confirmed. •
