Tuesday evening. The Customs duties to-day amounted to £97610s 4d. SYDNEY PRODUCE MARKETS. Sydney, January 10. This morning there was a moderate attendance of the trade at Darling Harbour auction sales. A small supply of forage, amounting to 13 trucks, came to hand, the principal portion being lucerne hay. Buyers' requirements were chiefly for oaten hay. There was a moderate demand for wood. At the wharfs limited quantities were forward from the Hunter River and southern ports. Trade was quiet. Potatoes and onions were slightly weaker. At Darling Harbour sales the following rates were obtained :—

Wood.Supplies are coming in more freely than of late. Billet, 8s to 10s per ton ; bundle, 10s to 12s 9d ; foot, 10s to 13s : bakers, 9s to lis (Mi. Hay.—Eight trucks wore forward. Oaten sorts commanded most attention. Old realised 7s to 0s 2d per cwt: best new, 8s Od ; medium kinds, 5s lOd ; lucerne, green in truss, 3s lOd to 4s Cd ; bales from the Hunter river district, 3s 9d. Straw. —Four trucks to hand, but was chiefly of medium descriptions. Clean wheaten, in bundles, 4s to 4s 3d per cwt.; faulty, 3s 7d. Chaff.—One truck of mixed chaff received, which sold at 6s 9d per cwt. At the wharfs the following were the wholesale quotations :— Maize.—Prime river lines, free from weevil, firm at 4s per bushel; weevilly and medium lots, 3s to 3s Sd. Tumut, 4s. Oats.—Stocks are accumulating, and the market remains quiet. Feed descriptions, at 3s 9d to 4s Id per bushel; milling, to 4s 2d. Bran.—A New Zealand shipment last night. Worth lid per bushel. Pollard.—Moving off at Is per bushel. Hay.-—Moderate supplies from the Hunter River this morning. Prime well saved dry green lucerne, £3 15s to £4 5s per ton ; other sorts from £2 15s. Chaff.—Fair stocks. In steady demand. New Zealand, £6 to £6 5s per ton ; Tasmania, £7 10s : Adelaide, £7 to £7 10s ; Victorian, £6 to £7. Onions.—The market was weaker. Hunter Rivet varieties, £14 to £15per ton; Victorian, £15. Potatoes.— bags came to hand from New Zealand last night. Quoted £19 per ton. Values of river lines ranged from £18 to £19. Butter.Quiet, at 9d to lud per lb for Illawarra, in keg; factory-made, lOd to Is ; intercolonial packed, Is. CHEESE.— hundred from the Southern ports yesterday ; slack ; Sd to 7d per lb ; choice brands, Bd. New Zealand, 7d to 3d. Bacon.—ln fairly active demand. Machine-cured Southern, Cd to 7id per lb; hand-cured and colonial roll, 8d to 9d ; bains, 6d to lOd ; New Zealand bacon, 9d to lOd ; hams, Is. Lard.—Finely rendered, in bladders, scarce, and sells readily, 7d to 8d per lb ; bulk, from sd. Eggs.—River lots in steady demand at Is 4d pei dozen. Poultry.—Unchanged, at per pair: Fowls, 2s 6i to 4s 3d ; ducks, 3s to 4s ; geese, 5s Od to 8s Oil turkeys, 7s to 14s.
