A ROMAN FATHER.

Christchurch, Tuesday. To-day a man named Joseph Tindall, brought his son, twelve years of ago, to the police-station, and gave him in chnrgo for stealing a watch belonging to Charles Peai-ce, a fellow workman. The boy had confessed to stealing tho watch, which ho hid in a garden.
