THE GOVERNORS ARRIVAL.
Hb Excellency the Governor will arrive at Onehunga this morning at eight o'clock by the Rotorua, and will come in to Auckland by train, arriving at the Auckland station at nine o'clock. On Saturday, the Town Clerk, Mr. P. A Philips, received a telegram from the Governor's secretary, statins that they would not be leaving" New Plymouth till Sunday evening; and we understand Mr. Crowther also received a telegram ordering a carriage to be at- the Auckland Railway Station at nine o'clock. The Mayor and Town Clerk will be in attendance to receive His Excellency; and the City Guards, under Captain Kohn, will assemble as the station as a guard of honour, and will be accompanied by the No. 2 Garrison Band, under Bandmaster Morris.
