[BY TELEGRAPH,—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisbokne, Friday. After a trial lasting from Monday morning to Wednesday, during which a great amount of evidence was presented, the prisoner Hoira Te Peri has been committed for trial for the murder, at Mitatahu, of Mr. and Mrs. Pook and their child. Hepa Haira's brother was discharged, thero being no evidence to connect him with the crime. Haira was brought to Gisborne from Awanui by the s.s. Australia this morning. He will be brought up at th» Supremo Court sittings in March next.
