In Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia the weather generally is fine. Brisbane, December 17. Heavy rain and thunder storms are prevalent over the greater portion of Queensland.

KILLED BY LIGHTNING. Sydney, December 17. A boy named Sheather was killed by lightning yesterday at Tarce, on the Manning River. At Bulli yesterday a man named Mulholland was killed by lightning. The storm was experienced generally over the colony, and was of unusual violence.
