ALARMING RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Friday. As the special train taking to the Tomoana Works the empty frozien meat trucks, was nearing Awatoto crossing, a cart containing two men and a boy attempted to pass in front of the train. The cart was knocked to pieces, but the occupants were thrown clear of the train. The train was at once stopped, and the three put in a van and brought back to town for medical attendance. The doctor says no bones were broken. The boy's was the worst hurt of the three.
