CARDINAL NEWMAN.
PAINFUL ACCIDENT. HIS RECOVERY DOUBTFUL. London, November 1. Cardinal Newman, who has been suffering from general debility for some time past, fell and struck his head severely, and it is feared he will not recover. He has received the sacrament of extreme unction.
