The monthly meeting of the Paparata Band »f Hope was held in the schoolhouse on Friday evening last, Mr, \V. Buttimore occupied the chair. A nice little programme was provided for the evening's entertainment and was well carried out. The following took part, viz., opening selection from Hoyle's; recitation by W. Butthnore; reading, Miss Martin; recitation, C. Buttimore; song (comic), Mr. Elrick; recitation, Miss \\. Buttimore; recitation, E. Roke; recitation, T. Buttimore; reading by Mr. R. French; solo, Mr. A. Sawyer; solo. Miss M. Buttimore; song (sentimental), Mr. Elriok. Selections from Hoyle's at intervals, Mr. A.
