THE SUTHERLAND FALLS.

[BY - TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Friday. TnE Daily Times has received a telegram announcing that Mr.T. Mackenzie, M.H.R., and Messrs. Pillans, O. McKinnon, and Fred. Muir arrived at Lumsden, having performed the overland journey trom Miltord Sound to Lake Te Anau. The overland route to the Sound and Sutherland Falls will be practicable in eumnior, when a track is cut. The falls have been measured, but the result is unannounced. From above Mr. McKenzie says they look to be 1500 feet. The scenery between Milford and To Anau is simply grand.
