THE NORTH NEW ZEALAND WOOLLEN COMPANY.
The tenders were received yesterday for the company's works and business as a going concern. We understand that though the tenders were for an amount sufficient to pay off the secured creditors, they were not equal to what the shareholders expected, and fell short of the liquidators' reserve. The liquidators have therefore not yet accepted any tender, and arc sanguine of receiving better offers for the property. The works and machinery are in excellent repair and condition, and are, moreover, in full work, with large orders in advance.
