GOLD DISCOVERY IN WESTERN

Perth (W.A.), September 28. News has readied here that several immense nuggets, from lOOoz to 160oz each, have been found at Pilburn Creek, where indications of a splendid reef have been discovered. Very rich specimens have been picked up in the locality, with lumps of gold protruding, and a rush has set in. VICTORIAN RAILWAY REVENUE. _ Melbourne, September 28. The railway returns just published show that the revenue for the year exceeded the expenditure by a million. SHIPPING. Sydney, September 28. Sailed: S.s. Rotomahana. Melbourne, September 28.
