THE EARTHQUAKE.
* ■» RENEWED SHOCKS. [BY telegraph.—press association.] Cliristchurch. Wednesday. A telegram from Culverden states that three further shocks of earthquake were felt there during the night, and one this morning. There is no further news from Hanmer Plains this morning, as there is no telegraph office there. Hokitika, Wednesday. Faint shocks of earthquake continue to be felt daily. Thirty-five have been recorded since the severe shock on Saturday morning.
