[press association.] London, August 29. A CARGO of Australian wheat has been sold at 40s, and another at 39s 9cl. Seven thousand quarters of Adelaide wheat have fetched 41s 9d. Widespread and heavy rains have inflicted considerable damage upon the grain crops throughout England. New consols are quoted at 99j. : Copper is quoted at £92 to £92 10s' per ton. Adelaide flour is 27s 6d. The wheat market continues to improve, and the latest quotation shows an advance of 6d. Eight thousand quarters of Adelaide July and August shipment, have been sold at 41s, and one cargo has been disposed of at 41s 3d.
